I Claim Confidence

When someone like Kacia Fitzgerald reaches out to be on your show, you say, HELL YES! Kacia is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, speaker, podcaster, and CEO who's on a mission to help women unapologetically share their voice and message with the world.

On this episode, Kacia teaches us how to claim confidence by making deposits into our confidence bucket during all seasons of life, no matter what negativity or challenges we face. “Every single day that you show up and keep a promise to yourself, it’s like you’re putting a tiny deposit into your bucket, like picture in your head. It’s like plop, plop, plop, plop, love, every single day that you show up. And I think where we unintentionally rob ourselves, of fulfillment, joy, and confidence-building opportunities are when we only have these big, massive goals and we wait until we get quote-unquote there, wherever there is to feel proud.”

Whether you're single, married, dating, an entrepreneur, a stay-at-home mom, or working a 9-5—you are responsible for your own confidence.

Personally, I've struggled with my confidence over the years, and as you know, I'm on a mission to be a better version of myself each and every day. This episode is like chatting with your bestie about ways to be just that, a better version of you!

Takeaways from this episode to stash in your tackle box:

  1. Learn how to define your own success criteria in the exact season of life you’re in, vs. comparing yourself to others, or to your past self. Spend some time thinking about what success looks like today and then wipe the slate clean and move on to the next day, giving yourself credit where credit is due.

  2. Confidence is the basis of everything. Create goals that involve building yourself up as well as your belief in your ability to figure things out vs. setting milestones.

  3. Pretend you have a bucket, and every single day that you show up and keep a promise to yourself, you make a deposit into this bucket. Then when something comes along that is challenging or you receive some negative feedback from an outside source, even if a little confidence sloshes out of your bucket, you’re consistently replenishing it and it will never go empty.

  4. Be selective in how you spend your time, your energy, and how you prioritize things. Say no to things that don’t feel like a HELL YES because when you say yes to something, you’re saying no to something else.

  5. Focus on being the best version of yourself because you’ll attract the right people at that vibration whether you’re wanting a romantic partner, a business partner, or friends. Own who you are. Be unapologetically you.
